My design sense and our entryway have gone through a drastic transformation in the last 5 years! We bought this home in 2015 and immediately fell in love with this gorgeous entryway. It is such a bright and open space and I immediately knew I wanted to put a console table. 5 years ago, my design sense was all about the rustic farmhouse look because that was what was on trend whereever I looked. So, I went with that using whatever I owned.
This is how the space looked like in the early days.. I anchored this blue console that was Shafi and my very first furniture purchase together with this gorgeous painting!

At this point, we had built this console table ourselves which is also very rustic inspired and plopped it in this space! I still love this table and its currently covered in dust.

Fast forward to 2020, the entryway is now transformed to a more modern space with an accent wall as you can see here! This gorgeous wall was installed for us by Broken Skull Designs and we absolutely love it!

What do you think ? I think this entryway transformation is bold and bright while still being dark and moody. You know I love a good accent wall, and thanks to Greg of Broken Skull Designs, I was able to transform this entryway into a completely different space. I mean, you can’t even recognize this space anymore am I right?!
has your taste evolved over time too? Or has it stayed consistently similar? Tell me in the comments what you think! I would love to hear from you.
