Jewel Toned Fall Entryway Decor

Home Decor· Seasonal Home Tours

When you think fall decor, I bet you think of orange pumpkin and lots of fall leaves. Well, I am here to tell you that it can be more neutral and beautiful than that.

Well, fall decor does not need to be all bright orange!

This year, I am using beautiful deep jewel tones through out my home to bring about fall decor. In the past, I have used blue and copper to create a tablescape and that has also been untraditional. This year, I am using mustards, burgundy, and blush to create fall vibes around my home. This was inspired by my sister’s wedding last fall, where she used these same shades along with gold. Her wedding was beautiful, and I wanted to recreate that this year in my home.

This year I am using jewel toned decor to add fall vibes to our home

here is the entryway in its beautiful jewel tones. Almost everything is old, except for the mustard throw and pillow. The wreath is a super easy DIY that I shared on IG stories. The large sign (verily with every hardship comes ease) is a DIY. The other two (Home sweet home, and pumpkin) signs are from 2 Crafty 4 my Skirt. The framed tile is a gift from a friend. And the framed floral print was thrifted!

The entryway was literally our FIRST DIY in our new home. We Installed this shiplap on a budget using plywood. You can check out that makeover here. Because this space is the first space that you see when you enter, I love decorating this little nook for the season. I love changing up little things on the gallery wall, and adding a throw and a pillow to create an inviting look. The jewel toned fall decor this year really elevates the decor by adding another level of coziness.

I love creating little vignettes for fall because they give a more lived in look to decor. Here I used the same jewel tones to capture the coziness of fall and add some seasonal charm to my entryway.

Here is a close up of the little gallery wall that is truly one of my favourites. The wreath is super easy to make, and is simply dollar store flowers and leaves on an empty wreath I purchased from Michaels.

[…] I have this classic entryway nook where we have our bench, a crate to house all the STUFF, and a cute gallery wall where I change up stuff. Here, with a quick DIY wreath and a thrifted frame, I added some fall touches. You can find the full blog post with all the details here […]

[…] Truth: I did not set up my fall porch this year, let alone a whimsical fall porch I just have not found the time yet, and with the COVID-19 cases sky rocketing again in Ontario, we are only resorting to curb-side pick up for all things. That means, pumpkins are not happening for us, and if I am being honest, which means there is no whimsical fall porch decor. This makes me a bit sad! I did set up a fall themed tablescape though and made a fall wreath! […]
