Hi guys!!
Ramadan is TWELVE days away, and I am SOOO behind! Life has been rather busy, especially home schooling and having to quarantine. I’m beginning to feel like I don’t have much time left to sort out all the great Kids Ramadan Décor Ideas that I have.
I decided to start with Liyana’s room (full blog post with all details here)using some of the decorations that I already had on hand from previous years, as well as reusing some of my favorite décor pieces. The only new thing I used was the banner from Banner and Cupcake Toppers which they generously sent to me for Liyana’s classroom – but, school is closed, and it seemed ashame not to use it, so I decided to feature it in her bedroom instead!

Kids Ramadan Décor
We started off with this teepee tent that I got from amazon years ago – I made it into a little Ramadan tent with some décor I already had in my house!

Salam Handsome Pillow – Iqra Mehrin Home
Star Lights – Dollarama
Tassels – Home made
Stockings – The Cozy Home Chronicles
Basket – Home Sense
Rug – Vintage Find
Next, I added my favourite Ramadan Count Down Calendar by Eva from Handmade Beginnings to this little corner in Liyana’s room. Eva doesn’t sell these calendars anymore, but you can find similar ones on Amazon etc. I also added a free printable with good deeds for Ramadan from Hira at Zair Zabr Play’s blog. I had printed these out three years ago, and I like to reuse them every year!

Ramadan Countdown Calendar – Hand Made Beginnings
Letter Board – Dollarama
Metal “J” – Homesense Canada
Blush vase – Michael’s Canada

The last area I decorated in Liyana’s room is where she has her little, Ikea Duktig Kitchen, She loves to play with it and pretend she’s making all kinds of yummy food for us . I decided to keep it simple and just hung the colorful banner above her kitchen, and then I called it a day! I think this Kids Ramadan Décor looks great, and Liyanna loves her room.
I wanted this to become a special little play space for her so she could make iftaar and suhoor for her “friends” (dolls), read them books, as well as giving us a nice cozy and inviting place to spend some time together during Ramadan.
This week, I’m also going to share how I am add little touches of Ramadan through out the rest of our house. You can also check out my previous years Ramadan Décor here as well.
Do you have any favorite decorations that you like to use for your Kids Ramadan Décor?
