Hi guys!

I hope you are having a wonderful day! I am currently in withdrawal mode after the fun weekend I had as a family again when my husband was visiting. It was exhausting, but oh so fun! Liyana had been anticipating her dad being here so much, that on Friday, she woke up earlier than usual and demanded to go check if he was here…which he was and she was over the moon joyed!

The one thing we try to do (if the budget permits) is to rent a car when my husband is here. While we have a car back home, I don’t have a car here and rely on public transit for 99% of our trips. But, when Shafi is here, the last thing we want to do is spend it in transit. Especially, when we want to do things in Vancouver and surrounding areas as much as possible!

With a car, comes responsibility… right? Since I have been driving in 2006, I have somehow always chosen Petro-Canada as my go to spot for feeling my car. From a 1999 Toyota that I named Winston (yup, I named my car) to our current SUV, I find that the premium fuels at Petro-Canada do an excellent job of keeping our vehicles running smoothly and maximize their efficiency. Trust me, when you have an SUV, engine efficiency is a huge deal especially in how many kilometers your car runs on a tank!

So even this weekend, we headed over to Petro-Canada for their premium fuels before we started on our weekend long social hopping and mini trips!

We managed to do a ton of things this weekend, and as I joked with my husband – he had enough socialization this one weekend to last him a whole month: D From dinner on a nice patio with friends, to a summer bbq, a trip to Granville island, science world with Liyana, a coffee date, a kid free dinner date… we did it all in the city! And, we manager to make the most of our time because we had a vehicle that ran smoothly, didn’t give us any troubles – thanks to the premium fuels by Petro-Canada.

So, now tell me – do you have any weekend plans? What kinds of things are you up to this weekend?

**Thank you to Petro Canada for sponsoring this post. All opinions provided are my own**
