January is such a weird time of the year – everyones busy trying to get in gear for the rest of the year. For me, it can feel quite stressful. There is a lot of pressure to have all your ducks in a row, to get the year RIGHT.
I also defended my PhD in November and have had the dissertation revisions pending all January. I have been working on that all through January and this weekend, I finally finished them up. Hopefully, from here on it is smooth sailing.

I have a super easy recipe for you to make your own DIY essential oil roller ball. These are perfect for using on your pulse points (neck, wrists) before bed or when you are feeling particularly stressed out during the day. This roller ball blend uses GNC Canada essential oils including lavendar and lemon essential oils, which have been shown to promote a healthy immune system and reduce anxiety and stress!
DIY Stress Away Roller Ball
- GNC Canada Lemon Essential Oil
- GNC Canada Lavendar Essential Oil
- Fractionated Coconut Oil
What to do:
In an amber glass bottle, pour or pipette in fractionated coconut oil. Add lavendar and lemon essential oils, in a 1/2 ratio (I used 20 drops lavendar and 10 drops lemon essential oils). Close the top and mix well. All done!
I already have used this roller ball all weekend and also gifted some to my friends!
