Hi friends!! I know we wait for summer all year long, especially after the dreadfully long winter here in Canada. But, man oh man, the days feel HOT, especially when you are fasting! Today, I have a easy, quick iced raspberry lemon tea recipe for you that you can whip up in no time, to quench that summer thirst, especially at iftaar or even to cool down on the patio during the day. Whatever your jam may be, this drink will keep you going in the hot summer days!
What You Need
1/2 cup raspberries
A few sprigs of mint
Ice
2 cups water
2 packs of Stevia
Lemon slices for garnishing
Tea Infuser
What To Do
Steep tea in boiling water as per instructions (This specific tea says 4-5 minutes)
Add 2 packs of Stevia (equal to 4 teaspoons of sugar.. but is a natural, guilt-free sweetener!)
Let the tea cool down to room temperature, which takes approximately 30 minutes
Next, add the raspberries and ice to your individual glass for serving
Pour cooled tea over ice and raspberries and top off with a sprig of mint
Enjoy!!
Wasn’t that easy!?! This drink has been on repeat for me at Iftaar time since the day I tried making it and I must say, I am HOOKED! Please do give it a try – and it can be so easily modified with any kind of tea or fruit you have on hand or that is in season. Don’t you love recipes that are simple and easy.. because we all know we have lost count of all the tabs open in our brains.. am I right?!
