Valentines Day Outfit Try-on Session!

Fashion

Hellooo friends! Today, I did an impromptu try-on session for a valentines day date-night that can easily transition to a fun wardrobe staple for spring and summer! You can follow along on Instagram Stories to see me (and my awkwardness) in full action! But, for convenience and ease, I have linked all the products for you! All links are affiliate links – and as always, cost you nothing!

Also.. old navy has 30% EVERYTHING currently – so if you like something, snag it while its on sale because sizes go fast!

OUTFIT #1

This cute chambray dress was SO ADORABLE! It is perfect to dress up for work, wear with tights in the colder months and then ditch the tights and add on a pair of cute sandals for a fun summer look! SO versatile and can work all year long, while keeping you stylish. I am wearing the small in this and it is very well true to size.

OUTFIT #2

This shirtdress in this gorgeous blush pink was to die for! You guys, it was soft as a baby’s bottom (literally, it was SO SO SO soft) and flattering in the right places – and the tie-front can be loosened if needed (if i eat extra dessert, no ones judging!) AND it had pockets. I mean POCKETS.. and I am sold! Again, totally perfect for a date night with your partner and its so easy to transition this baby to the spring and into summer. I am wearing the extra small in this one – and it was definitely pretty roomy.

OUTFIT #3

Okay.. so im a little obsessed with striped sweaters and this sweater has the most darling colour combination for stripes!

This outfit is perfect for a cozy, comfy yet put-together, effortless look! You can so very easily wear this look both for a day running errands, and throw on some cute flats and call it a date-night outfit. And if you live in the north pole like I do, you could even pull this off on a mild summer day (because sometimes we get snow in May!!) – also these faded blue jeans, were like skin! I have seen a couple of people try these on, on instagram and I can gladly report that they literally feel like skin on you, despite being a true denim. They have the cutest frayed edges. For sizing reference, I am wearing a regular length in size 4 here for jeans, and a medium in the sweater to have some extra room. I did fit into the small, but it was too short for a nice tuck-in.

OUTFIT #4

You guys.. this square necked, embroidered cotton top came in this stunning salmon pink colour and they had a dress version of this too! It was just to die for. I can totally see myself wearing this to work in the summer with a pair of pants or chino’s and dressing it down for date night with jeans and flats! It would also look amazing with a darker pair of denim! I am wearing an extra small here in the top. Also… the silliness had obviously commenced by this point.

OUTFIT # 5

Okay so this outfit and the last two outfits are handsdown my favourites and ended up coming home with me. Let me tell you why – the two shirts (this striped one and the pink plaid one) are made out of the softest cotton fabric you will ever feel. It has something else mixed into it, to give that smooth silky texture that costs a bomb at other stores. But O-M-G. They are soft, have long sleeves (which are my jam) AND cover your bum, hence legging appropriate on errands/working-in-starbucks/grading-exam days! And you will still look like you put some effort into getting dressed.. but really you just threw a shirt on and called it a day.

A staple in your closet, if I may. I added this blush twill jacket, because it is so stinkin’ cute and adorable for spring and summer!

OUTFIT # 6

As I am writing this, this pink lightweight twill shirt is sold out in all sizes.. but you can grab it in store if you head that way!

So there you have it! My 6 valentines day date-night outfits, that are really flexible and easy to transition to spring and summer, into the workplace or for a more casual errand running rendevous outfit 😉

Hope you guys enjoyed this little try on and as always, let me know if you have any questions or comments 😀

xoxo
