Favourite Holiday Room – 12 Inspiring Tours

Seasonal Home Tours

Helloo friends!

I am so excited to be bringing you a beautiful and inspiring Blog Series with twelve blogger friends! We are all sharing our favourite rooms, all decked out for the holidays! If you are joining me from my friend Hayley’s Blog over at A House with Books – hello and welcome! I hope you are having a wonderful time checking out all the beautiful blogs in this series!

So one of my favourite places to hang out and get cozy in is our bedroom! After our daughter is sleeping, there is nothing like being cozy with a mug of tea and chatting with my hubby about our day. There are some days, where we do our own thing and I sit and watch my TV shows while he watches his sports downstairs – but regardless, a cozy bedroom is a must! And I wanted to add some simple holiday touches to our bedroom without it being too much to handle on a daily basis. I added these cute little embroidery hoop wreath’s that I made from my sweet friend, Erin’s, tutorial [find that HERE] – I made it with some light weight frosted greenery and added it in between my favourite handmade sign by Jess from House on 77th and these vintage windows I got in the fall.

A cozy blanket and comfy slippers are always a must, don’t you think?

And I mean.. usually my bed tray (also a thrifting find for a whooping $4!) has mugs, but I chose to style it with my favourite vintage china by Royal Doulton – I think it perfectly adds the touches of red, without screaming Christmas.. especially since we don’t celebrate Christmas (Read about that HERE).

One of my favourite things, like I said before, is snuggling with some warm tea.. hence a bed of fluffed pillows is also a must. My husband might have complained when I added ANOTHER two throw pillows.. we can never have too many throw pillows, right???!?

I added some cute winter touches to our night stands with these easy DIY vintage mason jar slow globes [Check that out HERE] and some candles – perfect for a cozy, wintery night in.

Also these night stands are my new favourite, especially since I gave them a face lift with some amazing chalk paint by Country Chic Paint. Check out my post on this easy makeover HERE.

And there you have it guys.. my cozy, winter-ized bedroom which doesn’t look as pretty at the current moment 😉 but it is still my favourite room in my home currently. What is your favourite place to decorate for the holidays? Let me know in the comments!

And now, head on over to my sweet friend Amy at The Cuter Tudor and check out her beautifully decorated living room! Also grab yourself a mug of your favourite beverage and check out all the talented bloggers in this series below!
