Welcome to Day 3 of the Let’s Get Ready for Eid Series! In case you missed Day 1 and Day 2, you can catch up here! A beautiful table is a lovely way to celebrate any occasion, and Eid is no exception! In this post, I’m showing you how to create a simple yet festive and modern Eid tablescape. This tablescape takes almost no time to put together and will make your guests or family smile to see it. Celebrating with food and family and friends on Eid is a family tradition for so many of us and I wanted to make sure our table reflected how joyful I feel about holding this feast in my home.
Firstly, I started with simple faux flowers and greenery in a beautiful vase as a centerpiece. As Eid happens in the springtime, this is an easy and obvious starting point! Next to the flowers, I added sparkly gold letters that spell Eid and stand alone. This adds some colour to the table without being too much. You might recognize them from this post where I explained my kids’ Eid party decor! These letters add just a little bit of sparkle for child and adult parties alike.
On the wall behind the table, you will see a beautiful yet subtle “Happy Eid” banner from Blissful Eid. I love this piece of decor that adds to the festive feel of the room without overpowering it! Sometimes, the best decorations are the ones that quietly complement the rest of the decor.
Modern Eid Tablescape Place Settings
I wanted the real stars of the show to be on the table itself as part of the place settings for each guest, and I think I achieved this goal perfectly! I chose earthy, muted colours for the place settings that would go well with the fresh flowers, greenery, and gold touches that make up the centerpiece. Blue, brown, yellow, and a tiny bit of pink pair well with the rest of the decor so well, and don’t draw too much attention.
Then I added a little Eid gift on the plate for each guest. You can see what I chose (I do like the colour gold!), but really it can be anything small that you think your friends and family would appreciate. I think these little “Eid Mubarak” tags by Moments By Hani that accompany each gift are such a sweet touch! Completing the look of this modern Eid tablescape is a cake with some fresh pink carnations, baby’s breath, and a gorgeous gold “Eid Mubarak” cake topper by Custom by SOP.
There you have it! A simple yet beautiful and modern way to decorate your table and dining area for Eid this year. Tag me @mintcandydesigns to show me your Eid table!

Summer Inspired Eid Tablescape
While I don’t host an Eid feast every year, one thing I like to do every year without fail is to have a breakfast table set up for when we come back from Eid Prayers. I was inspired by summer colours – my favourite combination of vibrant blues and cheery yellows. Now, Come see how it all turned out.
Simple, Easy, and Beautiful Tablescape for Eid
I chose to keep this tablescape super simple and easy and was very much inspired by an initiative I was part of The Low Waste Eid Gift Guide. I think it turned out beautifully. Read the full post here.
