5 Easy to Make Eid Crafts

Eid is almost here! Kids love celebrating with a good craft, and in this post, I’ve collected 5 easy to make Eid crafts made by some very talented creators. You’re sure to find something here that will be a big hit at your Eid party celebrations. Enjoy!

Graham Cracker Masjids with Gift Bag 

What better way to celebrate Eid than with a sweet edible craft?  This graham mosque cookie kit from @artsynahleee hits the spot! What you need: 

  • Graham crackers
  • Tube-shaped wafer cookies
  • Meringues
  • Sprinkles
  • Kisses (the chocolate kind!) 
  • Icing

If you put these kit items together in a cute little gift bag like the one from @withaspin_, you’ve got a really nice Eid take-home party favour or kid’s Eid party craft activity all ready to go!

Paper Ramadan Crafts

Ramadan Charity Box 

Ramadan is not just about fasting! It is also about considering our many blessings, and using what we have been given to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves.  This next easy Eid craft is an excellent reminder of this goal of Ramadan.  Have your kids make this mosque-themed charity box craft by @iheartcrafts.ca  at your Eid celebration, and use it as a reminder that the lessons of Ramadan should be carried over throughout the entire year! To make this craft, you need: 

  • Empty square tissue box
  • Tempera paint (any one color)
  • Paint palette or paper plate
  • Paint brush 
  • Cup of water
  • construction paper (1 sheet)
  • Cardstock (½ sheet)
  • Glue Stick
  • 3 round objects to trace circles
  • Washable markers
  • Crayons
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Ruler
  • Stickers (optional)

Colour by Number Ramadan Craft 

This sweet little handmade colour by numbers mosque craft by @mylittlealim is a fun and easy activity! You can involve older kids by getting them to create the craft itself, and younger ones can follow the instructions to colour it after it’s been drawn! All you’ll need: 

  • Cardstock
  • Sharpie
  • 5 coloured markers 
  • Contact paper (if you would like it to be wipeable and reusable)

Salt Dough Eid Crafts

Salt Dough Ramadan Tic Tac Toe 

I am a big fan of salt dough craft ideas, so when I saw this fresh take on a classic game by @littlelifeofmine I was very excited to add it to my list of things to do with kids at an Eid party! To make this cute Ramadan themed Tic Tac Toe game, you need: 

  • Salt dough recipe
  • Small round object to cut out your game pieces 
  • Paint in various colours 
  • Mod Podge to seal the game pieces 
  • Cloth bag for the game board and storage

Easy Salt Dough Ornaments

While we are talking about salt dough, let me share these easy salt dough ornaments that I made with Ramadan themed cookie cutters to create a festive garland for our home.
