Girls Room Update using Decals

DIY

Liyana is now a big sister and I wanted to do something special for her room, especially after we left her rainbow room in our previous house. I am two weeks post partum and there is no way I am doing a full room makeover at this point. Instead, I decided to give her a room update using decals. Decals (pronounced as dee-kalz in eastern canada) are essentially printed stickers that go on your wall and are not just easy to attach but also remove. I went with one of my favourite companies that I have purchased decals from before – Urban Walls. They are a Canadian brand and I have used their decals in Liyana’s toddler room.

I ordered the Eden Floral Wall Decals in a “reduced order” by Urban Walls. The decals come rolled up and arrived in record time after I placed the order – by the way not sponsored at all! I just love this company a lot!

The decals arrive with handy instructions that make the process really easy.

Next, all you have to do is unroll them and cut the individual decals out so you can start placing them on the wall.

Next, I used some painters tape to attach them to the wall in the pattern I liked and then simply peeled off the back – just like a sticker!

In under an hour, i gave my daughters room a little makeover using beginner-DIY friendly and also renter friendly decals!
