Hello friends I hope you’re having a beautiful day. I’ve had the chance to test-drive the 2021 Kia Sportage over the last few weeks, and I am so excited to tell you about it! As many of you know we have recently bought a smaller car which I’m having a hard time adjusting to. This is particularly because I love doing DIY projects and often, they require a large trunk in your car. I have test driven the 2021 Kia Sportage and it has been a dream! It has also been incredibly convenient to use the car to help with my current DIY project aka the playroom makeover.
I am testing out the Kia Sportage for the last two weeks and it has been incredible I absolutely love the all-wheel drive and the fuel-efficient engine which makes driving long distances easy and convenient. Also, the sleek and sporty design makes it stand out from the other cars on the road!
Not only that I also love the size of the vehicle but also the trunk which is great for hauling DIY supplies, run errands or even when I go sleepover at my parents. Overall, I found the drive to be smooth and comfortable both for myself and my family. One of my favourite features about the car are the leather seats and as the days are getting chillier, I’m loving having heated seats when I get into the car first thing in the morning.
My next favourite feature is this iPhone charging station where you don’t need a cable to plug your phone in you simply place the phone in the charging dock and it charges your phone. Even better is the reminder that comes up on your dash if you forget your phone in the car and try to leave. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have forgotten my phone in the car and frantically searched my purse and belongings. The Kia Sportage has these little features that are so useful for busy moms like me who are trying to juggle all the things and remembering where they kept their phone is the last thing on their to-do list.
The Kia Sportage also comes with multiple transmission modes including an automatic transmission and a manual transmission or sportmatic transmission. While I don’t drive manual, I can see this being a really useful feature for someone who wants to and needs that in a car. All that being said my absolute favorite feature has overall been the comfort quality of drive and the safety that I felt while driving the car particularly on a long trip this past week to a cottage. I think the true test of a car is to take it on a trip and the Kia Sportage lived up to its expectations and delivered even more than I expected.
Overall if you are in the market for a new car particularly in SUV, I would highly recommend the Kia I’ve tried it out now for two weeks and I think it meets all of the criteria that a busy working mom like myself has. It has smooth comfortable all-wheel drive offering safety in all weather conditions, a great sized trunk, ample leg room for the family, fuel efficient transmission and the overall comfort that I’m looking for in a vehicle for my family and myself.
