5 Easy Fall Outfit “Recipes”

Fashion· Life

Oh heyyy! I do this thing every year, where I share fall outfits. It has become a long standing tradition and you guys ask for this content.. so I decided to brave the september heat, and come up with these easy Fall Outfit Recipes and share them here.

By no means do yo have to buy it all! A lot of these items are what I owned, and I added 3-4 new pieces to show you how to mix and match in the same closet to create completely new looks.

Look #1. Summer to Fall Transition Outfit “Recipe”

Yup… it is a hot one out, and I will NOT be wearing a sweater. But it will get cooler in the evening, and this midi summer dress + my favourite denim jacket combo is what I am actually wearing today! This exact dress is not available, but I have linked a similar version. Also, the stack of bracelets I am wearing is a TOTAL steal on amazon. SO GOOD!

Look # 2: Love me a Good Cardigan Look

Now, hear me out. If you need anything in your fall wardrobe as a staple. It has to be a Cardigan, good dark denim, and a black t shirt or tank (i can style them like a boss many different ways). These can all work together, or you can throw on the cardigan on the dress and swap around for multiple different looks. I also think this leopard print flats are a fun addition to a fall wardrobe, and they work so many different ways! I have linked similar items below, because these are all old – and even more reason to get them because i can tell ya they last a while and are versatile!

Look #3: Cozy Sweater + Denim Look

This sweater is SO GORGEOUS – This is a new buy, and a bit more on the expensive side for the store. But, I think I am keeping this! It is cute and cozy, and perfect to layer with dark denim and booties. I could even throw on a felt hat like cute bloggers do and be all fancy. You know what I mean?

Sizing: I am wearing medium in both sweater and denim jacket, which allows for a cozier oversized look.

Look #4: Leopard Print Sweater + Denim Look

I have refrained from animal prints.. because let’s be real: I am chicken. I have never ventured there, and the leopard print flats have been my first ever animal print buy. So.. when I saw this sweater I was like MEHHH. But then I saw Erin show it in her stories, and I was sold (or influenced!). I also paired it with the BEST mom-pooch-sucking denim there is available. I am not even kidding! I have three pairs of this exact jean because it sucks it all in AND makes your butt look great hah! I also paired it with this green utility jacket that I will show you to style three ways on Monday!

Sizing: I sized up one size to get a cozier, looser look in the sweater so I could tuck it in. It also comes in a cardigan version, plus sized version, AND a tunic version. Did I mention there is a matching toddler girl version too!

Look #5: Casual Home/Errand Look

Here, I am channelling all my plaid dreams. I took the same tank/cami from Look #1, and paired it with this new oversized flannel (I sized up to a medium) for an easy comfortable look perfect for sunday morning errands. You can easily throw on the green utility jacket or denim on top for a more cohesive look, and also swap out the denim for leggings for more comfort.
