Favourite Summer Maxi Dresses!

Fashion

Hi guys!!

I wanted to share my top 3 modest summer dresses that can be easily glammed up for an evening look or dressed down for a day look. If you are like me, you struggle with buying summer dresses that fit some specifics. Being a muslim, there are certain criteria that are essential when buying a dress.

  1. It has to be long enough to pray in – I always struggle with this. I am 5 ft 7 inches so most dresses are just right or even on the shorter side for me.
  2. It has to have sleeves – again to pray in or be modest. A lot of summer clothes don’t fit the first and second requirement.
  3. It has to have a lining and cant be see through in the sun. Again, most slips on maxi dresses are knee high or thigh high.

But over the past few years, I have gradually increased the modest summer dress selection in my wardrobe and you all seem to love them on Instagram. So, I thought I would share a roundup of my TOP three favourite ones that meet ALL three criteria above. INSERTGASP. Yes.. they are long enough, have sleeves and are NOT see through. You can thank me later once you have tried them on!

OPTION 1. Pastel Spring Floral Scenery Dress

This one seems to be sold out right now 🙁

OPTION 2. Vibrant Maxi Dress

I have the same dress in the “wine” colour in short sleeves too!

OPTION 3: Floral Maxi Dress with Scoop Neck

There you have! These are some of my favourite maxi dresses – if you have been around here long enough, you will see me wearing these pretty much every season. I have washed them all several times and there has been NO shrinkage or fading. Please note I do NOT put my dresses in the dryer and let them air dry on a hanger.

For sizing: I am 5’7, and wear a size small regularly, and in all these dresses.

Love the dress but the link doesn’t seem to be working for us in U.S. Can you tell us the exact name to search for us on the Amazon.us website
