You are the Pineapple of My Eye -

This was by far the most fun baby shower I have co-hosted to date! The theme was so fun and perfect for summer and involved my all time favourite fruit – PINEAPPLES!! One of my bestie’s and I co hosted this shower for another bff! I wanted to share all the details with you as soon as possible but am just getting around to it! All the details were super fun to plan and the beautiful mama-to-be loved it all!

Obviously there were tons of pineapples everywhere!! Ceramic pineapples, pineapple lights, pineapple shaped cake pops, pineapple/strawberry fruit kebobs and an upside down pineapple cake all made up the dessert table.

It was a hot humid day and a drink’s station adorned with this super cute pineapple garland was much warranted! We also had some sweet tea and and an orange pineapple punch, with a side of champagne 😉

To keep the pineapple’s well and alive through out the decor, we used real pineapples as well and had fun quotes and printables along side to add in visual interest.

Along with the decor, there were also fun stations for the guests to be entertained at where they could decorate a onesie for the baby or help decorate the baby’s first ABC book.

For food, we kept it simple and had a burger bar – but where ever possible, we tried to incorporate pineapples like this pineapple boat used to hold pineapple salsa

Overall, this baby shower was perfect for the mom and also the weather given that it was in July and it could be held outdoors. It was so fun to co-host and and plan for and every detail turned out beautiful! I hope this inspired you to host your very own pineapple themed party or bbq because really, who doesn’t love pineapples?
