Helloooo everyone! I am here with the much awaited details for the board and batten in our hallway!! I had decided to challenge us to make over this space for the Spring One Room Challenge, and I have succeeded!! I mean.. mostly. We finished this hallway in 9 days – which is a record for us, and I failed to post every week along with the rest of the folks who shared their makeovers weekly. But regardless, I made it!
I hope you will stop by the One Room Challenge Blog and check out all the incredible spaces being revealed today! I am for sure going to be checking them out, and hope you will to! Click here to go to all the blog posts!
Okay, so let’s re visit the hallway. Here is a very glamorous before:
I started with this vision board that actually my sister created for me in Sketch Up. I am very technologically inept.. so I asked the architect in the family to help me out!
We started the board and batten process and actually managed to finish the process in one day!
I then got to work painting, and went with the colour Argos by Sherwin Williams! Some of the other options were Sea Salt and Gris, by Sherwin Williams and you guys were all tied in the choices!
And voila! That is it.. the space is super small! Sadly, the runner I ordered was the wrong size! And, the frames I had in mind were out of stock! So i shopped my home and snagged these gold frames that are in my office and this old sign I had in the basement to create this assymetrical look!
Before I leave… here is a mandatory before and after shot!
Also, come and say hello on Instagram if you are new around here – I would love to have you!
